AXIS launches a focus laser technology dedicated to the PTZ video cameras

When there are difficult illumination conditions, the traditional PTZ cameras have difficulties with the focus and video quality. The new AXIS Q6155-E integrates a laser technology that measures that distance between the camera and the objects. In this way, the focus is made faster and with a bigger accuracy, the camera recording clear images every time. AXIS Q6155-E integrates the Sharpdome technology that allows the monitoring of the objects situated at even 20° upon the horizon. The maximum resolution is 1080p and the optic zoom is 30x. Due to the laser focus technology of the new sensor and due to the Axis Speed Dry and Axis Lightfinder technologies, the high-end camera offers clear images even in difficult weather or illumination conditions. AXIS Q6155-E is ideal for the surveillance of the cities, of the critical infrastructure, of the transportation services, of the perimeters and of the governmental institutions. The elegant and compact design and the carcase that allows to be re-painted make the camera to fit in any environment.

This camera provides a fast PTZ functionality and it integrates the Axis Zipstream technology that reduces the necessary of bandwidth and of storage. AXIS Q6155-E is compatible with the most of the video management software through the Axis Application Development Partner program and with the Axis Camera Station. The third applications of video analyse can be installed with the help of the Axis Camera Application Platform and through ONVIF.
