Cops Hunt for Sex Offender Town Locked Down After 4 People Shot

Maine State Police launched these pictures of Anthony Lord, sex offender needed in a number of capturing. Maine police on Friday launched a manhunt–and locked down a whole town– for a registered sex offender in a stolen pulp truck following the shootings of 4 people in three northern Maine cities.

The 4 have been shot in a single day in the cities of Lee, Benedicta, and Silver Ridge. There was no instant phrase on their circumstances.

Maine State Police recognized the suspected shooter as Anthony Lord, 35. Troopers stated the search for Lord was concentrated in the Lee space which was on lockdown.

Lord is believed to be from the Houton and Crystal space. Police stated Lord is taken into account armed and harmful.

The Portland Press Herald stated Lee, situated in Penobscot County, had been shut down Friday morning as cops flooded the town to look for Lord. The town has a inhabitants of about 900 people about 60 miles northeast of Bangor.

Police weren’t permitting automobiles to go away or enter Lee.

Lord, a registered sex offender, is about 5-foot-9, 260 kilos and has blond hair and blue eyes, the paper stated.

The Bangor Daily News reported on Facebook that Lord is alleged to have stolen a pulp truck. The car is a 2010 maroon Peterbilt with inexperienced lettering on the aspect saying “McCarthy” and a business license plate.

The Maine Sex Offender Registry listed Lord as a lifetime registrant.
