Marc Jacobs Beauty has named a lipstick shade after 9-month-old Princess Charlotte

February 9, 2016 By Ellen Smith

The Duchess of Cambridge might be one of the biggest icons in the fashion and beauty world, but her 9-month-old daughter is hot on her heels as she has just become a top designer’s muse.

Marc Jacobs Beauty has named a lipstick shade after Princess Charlotte as part of the Le Marc lip crème collection.

Catherine Gore, global vice president and general manager of Marc Jacobs Beauty, told WWD that the shade was “inspired by the deepest saturated pink tones of an English rose.”

The deep rose-pink lipstick — priced at £24 — is exclusively available at Harrods in London, to celebrate the launch of Marc Jacobs Beauty in the iconic department store.

If you’re based outside of the UK, you can get hold of the lipstick online, however, but it will cost $67, which includes overseas shipping.
